Messaging hierarchy

With the support of our content team, we've refined the core messages we aim to showcase at every booth, no matter the location. This serves as a foundational system that can be adapted based on the region, the type of event, and the audience in attendance. Additionally, we've established a clear content hierarchy to ensure the most important information is prioritised, easily readable, and stands out, while less critical content is appropriately positioned.

Colors and materials

Our biggest challenge was ensuring a consistent look and feel while working with vendors around the world. This led us to think about how we could maintain this consistency and make it easier for our colleagues to set up new events. To address this, we established clear guidelines for color usage, flooring materials, and the type of furniture in our booths. These guidelines allow our regional colleagues to communicate easily with local vendors, ensuring everything stays on-brand.

3D design elements

Designing an impactful booth means seamlessly integrating recognizable brand elements that ensure instant identification while incorporating visuals that tell your brand's story. For HiBob's event design system, we reimagined our 3D elements by scaling up our signature ‘Hi’ bubble mark, transforming it into a striking HiCube. Instead of relying solely on flat, printed walls, we incorporated our beautiful swag into the booth design with a functional and stylish metal grid swag hanger. To elevate the visitor experience, we replaced traditional coffee table laptop setups with custom double-sided demo kiosks, making our booths more inviting, interactive, and visually dynamic.

Booth activation

Beyond just the aesthetics of the booth, we focused on crafting a memorable experience. We considered what would excite our visitors, draw them in, and resonate with the HiBob brand. Inspired by our color palette—playfully named as if HiBob were a café (Cappuccino Foam, Black Coffee, White Cream, Orange Juice, Dark Wine, and Cherry Syrup) —we made a coffee bar the centerpiece of our booth. With charming baristas and a rich menu to choose from, the coffee bar became a lively hub of activity. It also allowed our team to engage with visitors, sparking conversations and connections even as the queue grew.

HiBob swag

Everyone loves cool swag at events—it’s always a hit! At HiBob, we set out to create a dynamic swag stock that stayed fresh and exciting, constantly evolving alongside our brand’s visual language and assets. To make things even smoother, we ensured all design files were readily available to our regional and event managers, allowing them to produce merchandise directly without needing to reach out to us. This way, our swag was always on point and ready to impress!
