Incorporating local cultures into global office spaces
Environmental graphic design
HiBob is a cloud-based people management platform that fosters employee connection and belonging, creating a vibrant and dynamic workplace.
With teams across New York, London, Tel Aviv, Sydney, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Lisbon, we partnered with local artists to create office murals that reflect our values and celebrate our communities.
The Misson
What
Our goal is to connect our company values of diversity, inclusiveness, and “come-as-you-are” to our celebration of the communities through local art pieces that celebrate the region and culture where we have offices and employees.
How
We hired artists in each community and asked them to create wall murals that bring our HiBob values and their community values to life through large-scale paintings on key walls in our offices.
Why
Our colleagues’ lives will be enriched by seeing the values they practice in their day-to-day work life brought to life in a vibrant wall mural they see everyday.
The Project
Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
I partnered with local HR managers to define goals, set budgets, and agree on the mural's location. Together, we created a detailed project roadmap with clear timelines and milestones, ensuring alignment across teams and resulting in a smooth execution.
Balance creative freedom with brand alignment
I sourced emerging artists whose styles complemented our brand, reviewing portfolios and facilitating discussions to align with the project vision. Through collaborative brainstorming, we ensured the selected artist could stay true to their style while reflecting our brand identity.
Drive projects from concept to completion on time and within budget
After selecting the artist, we finalized the sketch, coordinated site access, and addressed logistical challenges. Regular check-ins kept the project on track, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and delivering a mural that reflected our values and the artist's creative vision.
London, 2022
Art by Oskar Withak
When the London team moved to a new office in Farringdon, we worked with local colleges to create murals for two walls. The design features bold typography saying “here we are” and “we are here,” an overlayed map, and chalkboard speech bubbles where team members can suggest local cafes, pubs, and landmarks. Threads connect these suggestions to their locations, making the mural a dynamic, evolving reflection of the community.

New York, 2023
Art by Spencer Gabor
The training room wall was ideal for a mural, being long and bustling with team activity throughout the day. To bring the streets of New York into the HiBob office, Spencer created a lively array of characters showcasing city-centric activities and iconic objects like traffic cones and subways. Since the mural was in an inner room, we extended its presence by scattering elements around the office, such as a saxophone pointing to the toilets.

Zagreb, 2023
Art by Tea Jurisic
This mural, a vibrant fusion of symbols, people, and scenes, beautifully captures the essence of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, celebrating the city’s rich history and culture. This hidden gem provides an intimate glimpse into the city’s spirit, seamlessly merging tradition with modernity.

Lisbon, 2024
Art by Los Pepes Studio
When the Lisbon team moved into their new office in Alvalade —an old police station transformed into a stunning two-floor space—the outdoor garden was an obvious choice for the mural. The design, inspired by Los Pepes Studio's vision of Lisbon’s warmth and care, captures the city’s charm with its iconic hillside houses and vibrant energy. A central element is a fado scene featuring singer Amália Rodrigues and a guitarist, alongside António Variações, a celebrated singer with roots in Alvalade, adding a meaningful connection to the design. Elements of the mural also extend into the upper gallery, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
